Aldi is one step ahead of the holiday game. They are rolling out a Wine Advent Calendar, that contains 24 mini bottles of wine! It is certainly going to be a holly jolly Christmas, indeed.
The question is…do you split the mini bottle with your family or significant other, or do you sneak it and have it all to yourself? The product will first be launched in the United Kingdom on November 1st, before making its way into the U.S. stores. The wine options are a combination of whites, reds, prosecco, Champagne, and rosé.
“Every day offers a new mini bottle of wine for an evening indulgence in the lead-up to Christmas,” Aldi’s website states, adding, “There’s no better advent calendar out there.”
Some of the brands of wine include JP Chenet and Calvet. All of the wines are French, except for some of the bubbly options, which are also from Italy and Spain. The entire calendar is priced at £49.99, which is about 67 U.S. dollars. Each bottle is 200 milliliters, so the entire collection contains over six full-sized bottles of wine. Totally worth it!
This past June, Aldi revealed it wants to become the United States’ third largest grocery chain. Well, Aldi, this is certainly a fantastic start.
