Not Drinking Enough Water

This is another thing on the list that isn’t good for your overall health, but as far as your kidneys go, they have to stay hydrated in order to function properly. When you don’t drink enough water, toxins can accumulate in your blood and there won’t be enough fluid to drain them through your kidneys, resulting in urinary tract problems.

Not Being Active Enough

It’s been said for years that Americans are getting fatter and lazier. The lack of physical activity directly affects your kidneys by not keeping blood flowing through the body. A sedentary lifestyle is also another cause for infections, including in the urinary tract. So, keep moving! Even the slightest change will affect your organs and keep them functioning so you can, too.
