Cardiologist at Hospital de Navarra, Dr. Adela Navarro confirmed what we all wanted to hear: “Our findings suggest that drinking four cups of coffee each day can be part of a healthy diet in healthy people.”

So, baristas are heroes now. They’re like the pharmaceutical tech at Walgreens and the burger maker at Five Guys. Thanks for everything you guys do. You keep the world turning in your own special way.

The thing is that coffee has gone through its share of criticism. It’s like the very smart people wearing lab coats couldn’t make their minds up about the awesome bean drink. It was thought of as dangerous years ago. At one point, it was considered to be a contributing factor in heart failure.
