Hold on to your belt buckles, boys and girls, because the world’s largest Chick-fil-A will open in New York City in 2018. Everything you love about the popular chicken chain just got better.
The five-story building, scaling a whopping 12,000 square feet, will be twice the size of any Chick-fil-A in the country.
While two of the levels will be dedicated to kitchen space, the other three levels will offer seating for up to 140 hungry customers. Each level will be complete with floor-to-ceiling windows. The top floor will serve as a rooftop terrace with a scenic view of the One World Trade Center.
“We are always thinking about how to make the dining experience feel as comfortable as possible for our customers,” said Nathaniel Cates, design manager for restaurant development at Chick-fil-A.
Although it will take cover five floors, this Chick-fil-A will only be 15 feet long, also making it the narrowest of the chain’s restaurants.
The massive restaurant will be located in Manhattan’s Financial District at 144 Fulton Street, less than half a mile from the National September 11 Memorial & Museum.
